PAS Legal
Terms &
Conditions
01Introduction and Operator
These Terms & Conditions govern use of the Pet Award Show website, voting activities, newsletter, team applications, contributor submissions, and other PAS features.
The Pet Award Show is an independent project operated from Lebanon. References to "PAS," "we," "us," or "our" mean the operator of that project. PAS is a project name and is not presented as a separate incorporated company.
Visitors may view public informational pages subject to applicable law. By submitting a vote, applying to join the PAS team, subscribing to the newsletter, sending a contributor submission, or using another interactive feature that links to these Terms, a visitor agrees to the provisions relevant to that feature. A person who does not agree should not use the affected feature.
Questions may be sent to [email protected].
02About PAS and Fan-Made Status
PAS celebrates pets, updates, and community moments from the Roblox experience Adopt Me. PAS is not an official Adopt Me, Uplift Games, Roblox, YouTube, or Google service and is not sponsored, approved, operated, or endorsed by those companies or their partners.
Use of PAS does not create any partnership, employment, agency, sponsorship, or other official relationship between a visitor and PAS or between PAS and a third party.
PAS does not claim ownership of Adopt Me, its pets, game items, characters, environments, artwork, trademarks, or other material belonging to Uplift Games. PAS does not claim ownership of Roblox or the Roblox platform. A disclaimer does not create permission to use third-party intellectual property beyond what the owner or applicable law allows.
03Younger Users and Guardian Requests
PAS pages may be accessible from different countries, subject to local law. PAS does not ask visitors, voters, newsletter subscribers, or team applicants to provide their exact age or date of birth, and these Terms do not set a universal minimum age for those features.
Parents and legal guardians are responsible for supervising a child's use of PAS. A child who is not legally able to agree to these Terms or provide personal information independently must use interactive PAS features only with the involvement or authorisation required by applicable law.
If PAS learns from the child, a parent or legal guardian, or another reliable source that a child used an interactive feature in circumstances where the information should not have been accepted or retained, PAS will review the matter and take appropriate action. Depending on the feature and circumstances, PAS may invalidate or remove the vote or submission, delete the team application or communication, unsubscribe the email address, stop further contact, and delete associated personal information where appropriate or required by law. Limited retention may continue where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, a legal obligation, a dispute, or a legal claim.
04Acceptable Use
Visitors must use PAS only for lawful, respectful, and genuine purposes. A visitor must not:
- damage, overload, disable, or interrupt the website;
- use bots, scripts, automated tools, or other systems to manipulate voting;
- bypass voting restrictions or technical controls;
- submit repeated, coordinated, or fraudulent votes;
- impersonate another person or falsely claim ownership of an account;
- submit another person's private information without permission;
- upload or transmit malware or harmful code;
- attempt unauthorised access to PAS systems, forms, accounts, or data;
- scrape or extract information in a way that harms the website or violates applicable terms;
- misuse PAS names, logos, team identities, or branding;
- falsely claim to represent PAS;
- use PAS for harassment, scams, threats, or illegal activity; or
- encourage another person to violate these Terms.
PAS may block access, remove votes, reject submissions, preserve relevant records, or take other reasonable action where misuse is suspected.
05Voting Rules
5.1 Purpose and Information
Voting allows community members to choose preferred nominees in announced award categories. PAS may request a Roblox username as a basic anti-duplication measure. A username does not verify identity or account ownership.
PAS may use usernames, timestamps, technical information, voting patterns, and other reasonable indicators to identify duplicate, automated, manipulated, or suspicious submissions. Personal information is handled as described in the PAS Privacy Policy.
5.2 Voting Period
Votes may be submitted only during the official period announced by PAS. Votes submitted before opening, after closing, or through an unauthorised method may not be accepted.
PAS may extend, shorten, pause, reopen, or cancel a voting period where reasonably necessary because of technical problems, suspected manipulation, form or nominee errors, unexpected events, security concerns, legal requirements, or production changes. Important changes will be announced through a reasonable PAS channel where possible.
5.3 Voting Limit
Unless PAS clearly states otherwise, only one valid submission is allowed per Roblox username for each voting round. Voters must not use multiple usernames, automated tools, false information, or other methods to avoid this rule.
5.4 Valid Votes
A vote may be rejected, removed, or excluded where PAS reasonably believes it is duplicated, incomplete, outside the voting period, automated, manipulated, misleading, connected with incentives or vote trading, created through an exploit, contrary to these Terms, or otherwise unreliable.
PAS is not required to publish anti-fraud methods where disclosure would make those controls easier to bypass.
5.5 Finality and Corrections
Unless PAS offers an editing or resubmission option, a submitted vote should be treated as final. PAS is not responsible for a voter selecting the wrong nominee, misspelling a username, closing the form early, or providing incomplete information.
5.6 Results
Winners are normally determined using the highest number or percentage of valid votes in the relevant category. Only votes remaining after reasonable validation are counted.
For a tie, major technical problem, unclear result, withdrawn nominee, or exceptional situation, PAS may conduct a new or tie-breaking vote, announce joint winners, use a previously announced tie-breaker, cancel the affected category, or use another reasonable and transparent solution. PAS's validated results are final for purposes of the show.
5.7 No Payment or Guaranteed Prize
Voting is free. No purchase, payment, Robux, item transfer, or donation is required. PAS will never request a Roblox password, authentication code, payment-card details, Robux, or an in-game item in exchange for a vote.
A PAS award is fan-made recognition unless a separate prize is clearly announced. Nomination or winning does not automatically provide money, Robux, an item, employment, sponsorship, ownership rights, or official recognition from Uplift Games or Roblox.
Any future prize, giveaway, paid feature, donation programme, or sponsored activity must have separate rules published before participation. Those specific rules will control that activity.
06Nominees and Award Categories
PAS may select nominees and categories based on release period, community interest, show format, creative relevance, eligibility criteria, available information, and production decisions. Not every pet, update, creator, or community opinion can be included.
PAS may correct names, images, descriptions, category placement, or eligibility errors and may remove or replace a nominee where reasonably necessary.
07Newsletter
Visitors may voluntarily subscribe to receive PAS news, voting reminders, show announcements, and related updates. A subscriber must provide an email address they are authorised to use and must not subscribe another person without permission. A parent or legal guardian may subscribe using the adult's own email address.
Subscribers may unsubscribe at any time using the link in an email. PAS may stop sending to addresses that reject messages, appear invalid, generate complaints, were added without permission, or present a security or legal concern.
Newsletter delivery is provided through Resend and protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. Delivery may be affected by email providers, spam filters, security checks, technical failures, or circumstances outside PAS's reasonable control.
08YouTube API Services
PAS may use YouTube API Services to display public statistics such as views, subscribers, likes, and comment counts. Those figures may change, be delayed, be rounded, differ from figures displayed elsewhere, be corrected, or become unavailable. PAS does not guarantee continuous accuracy or availability.
By using PAS features powered by YouTube API Services, visitors also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Related processing is described in the PAS Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
09Intellectual Property
The website may contain original PAS material, contributor material, Adopt Me and Uplift Games content, Roblox references, YouTube and Google information, open-source resources, and other third-party material.
Original material is owned by its individual creator or by the person or organisation to whom rights were validly transferred. Third-party material remains the property of its respective owner.
Visitors may view PAS for personal, non-commercial purposes and share links to public pages and videos. They must not copy, republish, sell, rebrand, distribute, or commercially exploit original PAS material without permission. More information appears in the PAS Copyright & Disclaimer.
10Team Applications and User or Contributor Submissions
10.1 Team Applications
A person may apply for an announced PAS team role through the application form. An applicant must provide accurate information, use Roblox and Discord accounts they are authorised to use, and submit only their own answers. PAS may review, accept, decline, pause, or close applications at its discretion, and submitting an application does not guarantee selection, a reply, or a continuing role.
PAS does not request an applicant's real name, exact age, or date of birth. Applicants must not submit passwords, authentication codes, recovery details, payment information, government identification, or another person's private information. Application information is handled as described in the PAS Privacy Policy.
Unless PAS and the applicant agree otherwise in writing, participation is voluntary and unpaid. Applying, being selected, or helping with PAS does not by itself create employment, agency, partnership, sponsorship, compensation, benefits, or authority to bind or represent PAS. PAS may provide separate participation guidance covering responsibilities, conduct, availability, confidentiality, credits, ownership, and permitted uses of work.
Role selections, application answers, descriptions of skills, and links or references to previous work are reviewed only for the application. They are not a contributor submission under Section 10.2 and do not transfer ownership of, or grant PAS a licence to use, an applicant's portfolio, past work, or other existing material. If an applicant later creates or supplies material for PAS, any permission, credit, ownership, or usage arrangement should be agreed separately before PAS uses that material.
10.2 User or Contributor Submissions
If PAS accepts artwork, messages, photographs, quotes, videos, suggestions, or other material, the contributor confirms that:
- they created it or have permission to provide it;
- it does not violate copyright, privacy, trademark, or other rights;
- it is not unlawful, harmful, misleading, or offensive;
- the information they provide is accurate; and
- if they are not legally old enough to grant the permission below, their parent or legal guardian has authorised the submission.
Unless separate submission rules state otherwise, the contributor gives the operator of PAS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to display, reproduce, make technical or formatting edits to, promote, and archive the material in connection with PAS, its website, shows, videos, promotional posts, and related activities.
The contributor keeps any ownership rights they hold. The permission does not allow PAS to sell the submission as a separate product. PAS may reject or remove submissions. Contributors should not submit confidential material or ideas they do not want PAS to review or use for the submitted purpose.
11Third-Party Services and Links
PAS uses or links to third-party services including Cloudflare, Turnstile, Resend, Moaform, Zoho, Discord, YouTube, Google, Uplift Games, Roblox, and social media platforms. Their own terms, privacy policies, availability, security practices, and technical rules apply.
To the extent permitted by law, PAS is not responsible for external content, external service interruptions, third-party account actions, provider changes, external advertisements, third-party privacy practices, or losses caused by a visitor's separate use of an external service. A link does not mean PAS endorses everything on the linked service.
12Website Availability and Accuracy
PAS may add, change, suspend, or remove content or features. PAS does not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free voting forms, support for every device, permanent retention of past content, continued operation of external links, or release of the show on an unconfirmed date.
PAS makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate information but may publish errors, outdated details, or incomplete statistics. PAS may correct information without prior notice. Descriptions, dates, voting percentages, statistics, and show information are provided for fan and entertainment purposes.
13No Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, PAS is provided on an "as available" basis. PAS does not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these Terms removes a legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the PAS operator, creators, team members, artists, and contributors will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use or inability to use the website, a technical failure, an unavailable form, exclusion of an invalid submission, reliance on website information, use of an external service, schedule changes, or unauthorised activity outside reasonable control.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
15Violations and Restrictions
PAS may restrict access, remove votes, reject submissions, or report unlawful conduct where a person violates these Terms or threatens the website, project, team, or other users. PAS may preserve relevant records where reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, protect legal rights, or comply with law.
16Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in the PAS Privacy Policy. Before submitting personal information, visitors should read that Policy and any short notice displayed beside the relevant form.
17Changes to These Terms
PAS may update these Terms when the website, voting system, project, providers, or applicable requirements change. The updated Terms will be posted with a revised date.
Where a change is significant, PAS may provide additional notice and, where required, request fresh agreement. Changes do not retroactively remove rights that arose before the new version took effect.
18Governing Law and Disputes
Unless mandatory law in a visitor's country requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. A dispute should first be raised with PAS in good faith so an informal solution can be attempted.
If an informal solution is not possible, the courts having competent jurisdiction in Lebanon may hear the dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer, privacy, or other rights and forums that apply where the visitor lives.
19General Provisions
Severability
If part of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. The invalid provision will be adjusted only as much as necessary where law permits.
No Waiver
If PAS does not immediately enforce a provision, that does not permanently waive the right to enforce it later.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Copyright & Disclaimer, and any specific rules or participation guidance published for a PAS activity form the agreement governing that activity. Specific application, team participation, voting, submission, giveaway, prize, or event rules control if they conflict with these general Terms.
